UN Habitat's Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards | Deadline 31 July
Individual grants of up to 20,000 dollars will be awarded to young entrepreneurs showing promise in one of five categories: Youth Leadership; Green Innovations; Urban Ecological Safety; Youth Entrepreneurship; and Social/Cultural Innovations. Apply here by 31 July.
The Westly Prize for Young Innovators of California | June-September 2015
The Westly Foundation is looking for talented entrepreneurial candidates for the Westly Prize for Young Innovators of California. They are awarding cash prizes of $20,000 each to innovators under age 29 with creative solutions to community problems who live or attend school in California. Students from California who are attending school out of state are also eligible to apply. Applications are due September 15, but we give priority review to those who apply by June 1.

ITU Young Innovators Competition | May 2015
From ITU: "The ITU Telecom World Young Innovators Competition is looking for entrepreneurs with innovative ideas on how ICTs can help keep people safe in conflicts. They could work on preventing conflict, improving safety and security in conflicts, rebuilding communities or peacebuilding, among other topics. Participants must be between 18 and 30, and can have either an established startup or the concept for a new one. Two winners will be invited to join ITU Telecom World 2015 in Budapest, Hungary, October 12-15, 2015 to pitch their ideas, participate in workshops, benefit from a year of ongoing mentorship, and win seed funding."
